Tyre Exhibitions Getting Cancelled & Postponed Due To The Pandemic
Covid-19 has changed businesses around the globe. This Pandemic has given a tough time to all the industries. The tyre industry has also been one of them. The market has been unstable since January 2020 Because of the pandemic and now in 2021 the raw material is expensive and also the fright rates are booming. Most of the tyre expos were canceled in 2020 as the pandemic was on the boom. Automechanika gave its first date of the exhibition in June but later on when the vaccination programs started in Dubai then the final date was given for this year’s end as more people could take part and the show could be a success. Koelnmesse also confirmed the new dates. Autopromotec’s 29th edition is postponed a year ahead and now runs Bologna from 25th–28th May 2022. Most of the exhibitions around the world have been postponed. The expected date of Automechanika Shanghai is in late November 2021.
Market Uncertainty:
As the market is unstable because of the increasing prices of tyres, the manufacturers are losing their customers and on the other hand, the tyre exhibitions are getting postponed. The exhibition is the only platform where you can showcase your product and interact with the customer face to face and 1 on 1 basis.
Predicted situation:
Predictions are that at the end of 2021 the situation of the tyre market will get better and on that basis some of the tyre shows are scheduled at the end of 2021. If the pandemic situation stays the same the only option left is to carry out the exhibition in an open space with social distancing and limiting people.
Going Digital:
ZC Rubber Took the first step and did an online conference. ZC Rubber showcased its latest technology and the growth of the company. This shows the world is moving on to digitization. The event not only entertained the Chinese Tyre Market but attracted more audiences globally.
