On the other hand, winter tires provide extra grip and safety on slippery surfaces but cost a little more.
Winter Tyres:
Winter tires are also known as snow tires. They are designed for icy and snowy surfaces. Winter tires are designed in a way in which they have larger gaps in the design. Winter tires performance is not compromised even if the temperature is dropped below 7 degrees.
Advantages:
- Stays flexible in temperature below 7 degrees.

- Lasts longer if properly maintained and only driven in winter.
- Extra Safety.
Disadvantages:
- Compromises the performance on normal roads in other seasons.
- Winter tires are fragile.
All-Season Tyres:
All-season tires are suitable for running all the year but if the weather conditions are harsh all-season tires starts slipping on the road. All season tires tread gaps are smaller than the winter tires.

- Better performance.
Disadvantages:
